Lebanon's health ministry has stated that the number of fatalities due to Israeli strikes amidst the Israel-Hezbollah conflict has tragically surpassed 3,000, reflecting on the severe impact of ongoing hostilities. The violence intensified on March 2, following an Israeli attack that resulted in the death of Iran's supreme leader. This event triggered Hezbollah's retaliation, escalating the situation further. Although a ceasefire was instigated on April 17, and subsequently extended for 45 days on Friday, hostilities have continued unabated, with both sides accusing each other of violations.
