Dual national released on bail after RAF Fairford scare

A 25‑year‑old UK‑Iranian dual national was arrested in Westminster on Thursday on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts linked to events at RAF Fairford, a key RAF base in Gloucestershire.
He was released on bail after a major incident that saw dozens of homes evacuated following reports of suspicious vehicles near the airbase last weekend.
Five additional men, all UK nationals from London, were also arrested but have been freed on police bail.
The investigation into the circumstances remains ongoing, with authorities continuing to examine the connections to the airbase security breach.
