Erika Kirk, widow of Charlie Kirk, delivered a tearful speech thanking first responders as she mourned her husband's tragic death after he was shot at a speaking event in Utah. Standing beside his empty chair, she quoted the Bible and remembered his unwavering love for their children and support for President Trump.

Charlie Kirk was shot during a public debate at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. His suspected attacker, Tyler Robinson, has since been arrested. In her remarks, Erika pledged to keep her husband's voice alive, stating, 'My husband's legacy will not die.'

During the livestream from Turning Point USA headquarters, Erika honored her husband as a loving father and devoted spouse, encouraging those challenging his ideals to understand the power of the movement he sparked.

'If you thought my husband's mission was powerful before, you have no idea what you just unleashed across this entire country and this world,' she said passionately.

The event marked a moment of silence for Charlie before Erika thanked his staff and notable political figures for their support. Among them were Vice-President JD Vance and Usha Vance, who accompanied Charlie’s casket back to Arizona.

Erika conveyed her heartbreak to their young children, explaining their father's death as a 'work trip with Jesus' to their daughter. As the community mourns, Charlie's efforts in mobilizing youth engagement in politics will continue, she assures, as she looks ahead to carrying on his impactful work.
