In a bizarre incident on the Monash Freeway in Melbourne, a driver made an abrupt stop after discovering a highly venomous tiger snake slithering up her leg. At 80 km/h (50 mph), the unexpected encounter forced her to pull over in distress, leading to a chaotic scene on the motorway. Fortunately, she managed to navigate through traffic and safely exit her vehicle. Responding officers assessed her state and said she appeared "rattled" and "in a state of shock" after this harrowing experience.Melbourne Snake Control was called to the scene to safely retrieve the tiger snake, regarded as one of the world's most venomous snakes. Following the incident, the woman was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, amid fears of a snake bite, but reports indicate she is recovering well. Tim Nanninga from Melbourne Snake Control commented that he successfully relocated the snake to a safe environment, far from homes and pedestrians.Bystanders expressed amazement as the snake was carefully extracted from the car, with some capturing the unusual event on their phones.
