TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Savannah Guthrie is renewing her appeal to Tucson residents to assist in the search for her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing since February 1.

Guthrie shared a family statement on her Instagram account, expressing gratitude for the community's support and urging anyone who might have relevant information to come forward. The family believes someone may hold the key to resolving this troubling case, emphasizing that 'no detail is too small.'

The statement encouraged community members to review their memories and any relevant video footage, text messages, or journal notes from the days surrounding Nancy's last known sighting.

In a poignant acknowledgment, the family also expressed the painful possibility that their loved one may no longer be alive.

“We cannot grieve; we can only ache and wonder,”

On February 1, Nancy Guthrie was reported missing under circumstances suggesting she was taken against her will. The FBI has since released surveillance footage showing a masked individual near her home on the night of her disappearance. In their quest for answers, the Guthrie family has offered a substantial $1 million reward for any information leading to Nancy's recovery.

This past March 5, Savannah Guthrie took a brief hiatus from her role on the NBC 'Today Show' to visit the show's studio for the first time since her mother's dissappearance. While she plans to return to broadcasting, her focus remains on family support and the ongoing search for her mother.

Located over 100 miles from Phoenix, Tucson is known for its affluence and scenic hiking trails, specifically in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood where Nancy resides. Guthrie, a prominent figure in morning television since 2012, continues to navigate this personal crisis, supported by colleagues and a community rallying for assistance.
