Police in the Bahamas have released a Michigan man, Brian Hooker, whose wife, Lynette Hooker, is missing after allegedly falling overboard from their small boat. Hooker, 55, was reported missing on April 4 while they were traveling from Hope Town to Elbow Cay. Brian Hooker was in custody since April 8 and announced that he would not stop searching for his wife. Authorities stated that strong currents carried Lynette away after she fell overboard. The U.S. Coast Guard has opened a separate investigation into the incident. The couple had a history of sailing adventures and previously documented their experiences on social media.
