A significant manhunt is currently underway in Anaconda, Montana, where tragedy struck as four individuals were killed in a shooting at The Owl Bar, a historic establishment built for local copper workers back in 1893. The incident took place around 10:30 AM local time, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement and the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which confirmed they were on the scene to assist.

Authorities have identified the suspect as Michael Paul Brown, urging anyone who spots him not to approach but to contact 911 instead. "He is believed to be armed and dangerous," warned the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement Center through social media channels. In light of the escalating situation, residents are advised to remain indoors and secure their homes.

Adding to the tension, the Granite County Sheriff's Office released a description of Brown's attire, noting he was "said to be wearing a tie-dyed shirt, blue jeans, and an orange bandana." Law enforcement officials have already searched the suspect's residence and reported that it has been cleared by SWAT teams but continue to search for Brown.

Montana’s Governor Greg Gianforte has expressed his condolences for the victims and their families, also commending the law enforcement officers who are urgently responding to the situation.
