Ukrainian forces acknowledge Russia's military incursion into the crucial Dnipropetrovsk region, marking a significant escalation in hostilities amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict.

Ukrainian military officials have confirmed that Russian forces have crossed into the Dnipropetrovsk region, with this being described as the largest scale attack in the area to date. Despite claims from both sides, control over the contested areas remains in dispute as Ukraine continues to assert its defense amidst faltering diplomatic talks.

Ukrainian forces have acknowledged that Russia's military has crossed into the eastern industrial region of Dnipropetrovsk and is attempting to establish a foothold.

According to Viktor Trehubov of the Dnipro Operational-Strategic Group of Troops, This is the first attack of such a large scale in the Dnipropetrovsk region, but he also noted that their advance had been effectively halted.
