In a decisive response to an unprecedented breach of Polish airspace by Russian drones, more NATO countries are mobilizing their troops and aircraft to strengthen defense in Eastern Europe. Denmark, France, and Germany have stepped up, initiating a military deployment aimed at fortifying the alliance's eastern flank.

This escalation follows a reported incident where 19 Russian drones flew through Poland's airspace on Wednesday, sparking significant concern among NATO allies. Some drones were shot down while others unfortunately crashed into fields and homes, causing damage.

The Kremlin has claimed that the incursions were not targeting facilities in Poland, but Polish officials and European leaders suspect a deliberate act of aggression. In light of this situation, countries have pledged military support, with Denmark set to contribute two F-16 fighter jets and a warship, while France is providing three Rafale fighter jets and Germany four Eurofighters.

PM Mette Frederiksen of Denmark stated, 'Putin will stop at nothing, and he is testing us. Therefore, it is crucial that Denmark contributes to this scenario.' Meanwhile, the UK has indicated full support for strengthening the Eastern Sentry, with further details to follow.

During a recent UN Security Council meeting, representatives from the US and European nations echoed their commitment to Poland, emphasizing solidarity amidst concerning airspace violations. Acting US Ambassador to the UN Dorothy Shea reiterated that the United States stands by its NATO allies in defense of their territory.

Poland's Secretary of State Marcin Bosacki emphasized the seriousness of the violations, displaying images of the damaged drone and property during the UN session, clarifying, 'We know it was not a mistake.' Various other nations, including the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, have also pledged to send defense resources to Poland, securing assistance against a backdrop of escalating geopolitical tensions.
