In recent times, Wicknell Chivayo, also known as ‘Sir Wicknell’, has captured the attention of Zimbabweans, both for his generosity and the controversies surrounding his wealth and influence.

A flashy figure in Zimbabwe, Wicknell Chivayo is known for his lavish gifts, dishing out luxury cars and cash to those he considers patriotic. He often bestows Mercedes-Benzes, Range Rovers, and cash donations to a variety of recipients including musicians, gospel artists, footballers, and loyal citizens of the ruling Zanu-PF party. Recently, he gifted renowned musician Jah Prayzah a Range Rover and a cash prize of $150,000, describing it as a gesture of gratitude for his contributions to the music community.
