Organizers from local media estimate turnout at around 100,000 nationwide, with at least 40,000 gathered in the capital city of Bratislava alone.
The protesters have voiced their anger regarding Fico’s approach to undermining vital national institutions, his strained relationship with Ukraine, and his increasing friendliness towards Russia. However, reports later clarified that the incident was a minor phishing attempt rather than the significant attack suggested.
