Beyoncé's Unreleased Tracks Stolen Ahead of Atlanta Tour Stop
Beyoncé's unreleased music, alongside other valuable items, has been stolen from a vehicle before her performance in Atlanta.
In an unsettling incident, Atlanta police have reported a theft involving Beyoncé's choreographer and dancer. On July 8, just two days prior to the start of her four-night Cowboy Carter tour in Atlanta, a rental vehicle parked outside a nearby food hall was broken into, leading to the loss of music files and personal belongings.
The vehicle, a black Jeep Wagoneer, was parked by choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue while they were inside the food establishment. Upon returning, they discovered the rear window smashed and suitcases stolen. The police report states they had "sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé" in the vehicle, including five hard drives with unreleased music, footage plans for past and upcoming shows, and set lists.
Other stolen items included a laptop, expensive clothing, and Apple AirPods. Investigation efforts are underway, including tracking stolen electronics through technology and examining the vehicle for fingerprints, which yielded inconclusive results. Currently, it remains unknown if the stolen items have been recovered.
Beyoncé has been captivating audiences in Atlanta since July 10, with her final show planned for Monday night. The tour has attracted significant attention, especially after her husband, rapper Jay Z, made a surprise appearance during one of the performances.
Choreographer Christopher Grant is known for his work with other prominent artists, including Shakira, while dancer Diandre Blue recently featured in a 2024 Super Bowl advertisement where Beyoncé showcased tracks from her Cowboy Carter album, released earlier that year.
