Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, Christian McGrath, emphasized the importance of testing due to the nature of the alleged crimes, stating that while he could not confirm if Brown tested positive for any sexually transmitted infections, some children may have been exposed to treatable infections. Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan expressed her deep concern and empathy for the affected families, acknowledging the widespread fear and anger surrounding the case.
