In brief
ADNEC Group has scheduled ADIPEC 2026 at its ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi and the World Travel Market London at Excel London in the same week, showcasing the group’s capacity to stage major international exhibitions across sectors. ADIPEC, the largest energy event, will occupy the entire venue and include over 2,000 exhibitors, while the WTM London edition continues to attract tens of thousands of participants and billions of business deals.
In an ambitious schedule announced on 30 October 2026, ADNEC Group said it would host two of the world’s most significant industry events during the week of November. The world’s largest energy conference, ADIPEC 2026, will take place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 2 to 5 November, and the flagship travel industry event, World Travel Market London, will run at Excel London from 3 to 5 November.
According to the news agency WAM, the two events will unfold simultaneously in the group’s largest venues—ADNEC Centre in the United Arab Emirates and Excel London in the United Kingdom—demonstrating the company’s ability to manage large‑scale exhibitions across multiple markets.
ADIPEC 2026 is described by WAM as the largest in the event’s history. It will fill the entire show space of ADNEC Centre, adding new halls in the Marina area and Central Plaza, and it is expected to host more than 2,000 exhibitors, numerous country pavilions, and special zones dedicated to digitalisation, decarbonisation, maritime and logistics, and artificial intelligence.
The venue for ADIPEC has been described as the first and only large‑scale event space in the Middle East and North Africa powered solely by clean energy. WAM notes that this green status is achieved through a partnership with Emirates Water and Electricity Company and is verified by International Renewable Energy Certificates issued by the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy.
World Travel Market London, meanwhile, will gather travel and tourism professionals from around the globe. WAM cites previous years’ figures, noting that the 2025 edition attracted representatives from 182 countries, grew exhibitor numbers by 5% year‑on‑year, and reached an attendance of 46,500. It also highlighted that 5,500 high‑quality buyers attended and that confirmed business meetings rose by 16% to more than 40,000, generating over £2.2 billion in direct business deals.
Both WAM and ADNEC Group’s statements emphasize the organisation’s role in connecting global industries—from energy to travel and tourism—through collaborative platforms that enable partnerships, investment activity, and the development of shared solutions for a resilient future.
“ADAPEC 2026 will bring together energy producers, policymakers, technology innovators and investors to forge partnerships, unlock investment and develop shared solutions for a resilient and inclusive energy future,” a spokesperson for ADNEC Group said, according to WAM’s report.
As the world’s largest energy event and the flagship gathering in the travel sector unfold side by side, ADNEC Group’s dual hosting strategy highlights its capacity to deliver high‑profile international exhibitions across continents while underscoring its commitment to sustainability and industry collaboration.
