ORANGEBURG, S.C. — In a tragic incident, two individuals lost their lives and one person was injured following a shooting at a residential complex on the campus of South Carolina State University late Thursday. The university has not yet released details regarding the identities of the victims or the extent of the injuries sustained by the wounded individual. The shooting prompted an immediate lockdown of the campus around 9:15 p.m., which lasted until approximately 5 a.m. the following day. Witnesses, including student Kaya Mack, described the scene as chaotic, with loud sirens and a heavy police presence in the area.
