Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff was the victim of a gun attack in the Mumbai suburb of Juhu on Sunday evening, yet police report he emerged unscathed. The incident came after a string of high‑profile attacks in India, raising concerns about the security of public figures. Deputy CM Eknath Shinde visited Shroff and urged action against the gunmen. Two others, including the driver, were injured. The case is under active investigation by local police.

Bollywood heartthrob Tiger Shroff was shot at on Sunday night while leaving a football club in the Juhu suburb of Mumbai, yet police report he escaped the attack without suffering any gunshot injuries.

The incident was captured on video by on‑lookers, showing two men in motorbikes firing a volley of shots at the front passenger seat of Shroff’s car as it moved past a crowd. Two other people were injured, including the actor’s driver, according to police statements.

The attack comes amid rising fears over the safety of prominent public figures in India, where recent years have seen a spate of violent acts targeting celebrities and politicians. Formerly successful in romance and action films, Shroff also represents Mumbay FC in professional football.

Eknath Shinde, deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, visited the actor after the assault and condemned the “hooliganism” behind the attack, vowing that such intimidation would be met with decisive action.

Police are actively investigating the incident, while security agencies in the region have increased measures around high‑profile individuals. Shroff’s mother and the actor themselves were reported as shaken but unharmed.

The case adds to a heavier string of targeted attacks on celebrities, such as the 2024 gun attack on Salman Khan’s home and the killing of political figure Baba Siddique. Authorities will continue to probe the motive and perpetrators.
