Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have gone Instagram official after the singer posted a string of photographs and videos from their trip to Japan.

In one picture, Perry and Trudeau are seen smiling for a selfie. In another video, the pair is captured trying sushi.

Neither Perry nor Trudeau have publicly commented on their relationship, but speculation has been growing for months, fueled by multiple pictures of the two together. Trudeau was seen attending Perry's concert earlier this year, adding to the romance rumors.

Perry was in Japan as part of her global Lifetime Tour, captioning her Instagram carousel with Tokyo times on tour and more. Earlier this week, Trudeau reposted a photograph of the pair alongside former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, expressing gratitude for their gathering.

Last month, the couple appeared to confirm their relationship when they were photographed holding hands at an event in Paris, coinciding with Perry's 41st birthday. Reports indicated Trudeau was seen assisting the singer into a car as they left the event.

Diving into their past relationships, Perry ended her long-term relationship with actor Orlando Bloom earlier this year. Trudeau also recently split from his wife Sophie Grégoire after 18 years of marriage. Both are now navigating life and love in new chapters.
