Diddy Faces New Lawsuit Allegations of Balcony Incident
Sean "Diddy" Combs is accused of a violent encounter involving a woman on a 17th-floor balcony, according to a new lawsuit.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, the iconic music mogul, is in the midst of another legal battle as a new lawsuit emerged from fashion designer Bryana "Bana" Bongolan, accusing him of a shocking altercation that allegedly took place in 2016. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, details an incident at the apartment of Combs’ then-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, where it is claimed Diddy dangled Bongolan from a 17th-floor balcony during a heated confrontation.
This lawsuit adds to a staggering tally of over two dozen claims against Combs, which range from sexual assault to allegations of drugging individuals and physical intimidation. Alongside these civil claims, Combs is also battling federal charges related to a racketeering and sex trafficking operation, which has compounded the gravity of his legal woes.
According to Ms. Bongolan, the ordeal began when Diddy started banging on the front door and shouting while she was at Ms. Ventura's apartment. Upon entering, he allegedly confronted Bongolan, who was outside on the balcony. The suit claims that he physically assaulted her, lifted her, and dangled her from the ledge. Ms. Bongolan, who reportedly weighed about 100 pounds, claims she fought back but was easily overpowered by the music mogul.
The lawsuit indicates that the altercation subsided only when Cassie Ventura intervened, after which Combs allegedly threw Bongolan back onto the patio furniture. Combs has categorically denied all allegations, labeling them as serious but baseless, and he maintains confidence that the truth will prevail in court.
Bongolan seeks $10 million in damages and insists the incident was the culmination of a series of threats and intimidation stemming from her interactions with Combs since they began their professional relationship. Echoing claims made in a recent lawsuit from Ventura that accused Combs of abuse, rape, and sex trafficking, Bongolan describes enduring "terror and abuse" throughout her collaboration with the music producer.
Currently, Combs remains incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, after a judge denied him bail multiple times. As the legal battles unfold, the stakes continue to rise for Combs, whose public persona is rapidly becoming overshadowed by these serious allegations.
