In Stern's narrative, the relationship started positively when they met in Romania in 2024 while she was there for a modeling assignment. However, it swiftly devolved into an abusive environment where Tate allegedly manipulated and groomed her into submission, ultimately declaring her his "property."

The lawsuit recounts a harrowing incident that allegedly occurred on March 11 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where Stern claims Tate physically assaulted and threatened her. After enduring the attack, Stern sought medical help and was diagnosed with "post-concussion syndrome."
