The incident occurred in the prominent Puerto Madero neighborhood, where onlookers reported seeing flames and smoke billowing from the 50-floor building.

According to emergency services, approximately 40 individuals received treatment for smoke inhalation, with several others taken to hospitals as precaution. Ornella Gril, a 30-year-old resident, recounted her experience, stating, "I heard the fire alarm and came downstairs as quickly as I could." Former footballer Mariano Pavone, who also resides in the tower, noted that he quickly grabbed his son and dog upon witnessing the smoke while expressing concern for fellow neighbors.

With broken glass raining down from the building windows during the ordeal, the swift evacuation ensured that no one remained at risk. Emergency teams continue to investigate the cause of the fire, which remains undetermined as of now.
