Diddy Faces Serious Allegations of Assault in New Lawsuit
Fashion designer Bryana "Bana" Bongolan claims Sean Combs dangled her from a 17th-story balcony during an altercation.
In a shocking development, Sean "Diddy" Combs has been accused in a new lawsuit of a serious incident involving fashion designer Bryana "Bana" Bongolan. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, claims that the alleged incident occurred in 2016 while Bongolan was visiting the apartment of Combs’ then-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. This case adds to the lengthy list of complaints against the music industry titan, with over two dozen lawsuits alleging various offenses such as sexual assault and drugging individuals.
Combs, who is already embroiled in federal charges related to a racketeering and sex trafficking scheme, has denied all accusations, including those raised by Bongolan. A spokesperson for the rapper stated on Tuesday that he "firmly denies these serious allegations" and is confident that the claims will be proven baseless.
According to the lawsuit, Bongolan was spending the night at Ventura's apartment when Combs allegedly began shouting and banging on the front door. Upon entering, he is claimed to have confronted Bongolan while she was on the balcony. The lawsuit details that Combs allegedly grabbed and molested her before lifting her up and hanging her over the balcony. At the time of this incident, Bongolan was reportedly around 100 lb (45.3 kg) and struggled to resist, fearing for her life.
The complaint claims that Ventura intervened during the altercation, prompting Combs to pull Bongolan back indoors by slamming her onto nearby patio furniture. Bongolan is seeking $10 million (£7.89 million) in damages, citing a pattern of intimidation and threat during her past interactions with Combs.
Remarkably, the allegations bear resemblance to claims made by Ventura in a separate lawsuit filed earlier in 2023. That case—settled shortly after its filing—alleged abuse and sex trafficking, highlighting another incident where a friend of Ventura’s was dangled over a balcony by Combs.
Bongolan notes the terror and abuse she faced during her professional relationship with Combs, which began when he sought her out for various creative collaborations. Currently, Combs remains incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, after being denied bail three times by the court.
