Netanyahu Blasts Western Leaders for Alleged Support of Hamas

Israeli PM Labels UK, France, and Canada Leaders as Aligning with Terrorism

In a fiery response, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accuses Western leaders of enabling Hamas by calling for a ceasefire and condemning Israel's military actions in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made stark accusations against UK leader Sir Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, claiming they support Hamas and align with what he describes as "mass murderers, rapists, baby killers, and kidnappers." In a video statement posted on X, Netanyahu reacted to an attack on Israeli embassy officials in Washington, asserting that these leaders advocate for allowing Hamas to continue its reign of terror.

While Downing Street opted not to comment on Netanyahu's allegations directly, they highlighted Starmer's prior denunciation of the Washington incident, where he characterized antisemitism as a "profound evil." Recently, the trio of Western leaders condemned Israel's escalated military operations in Gaza and demanded a halt to the humanitarian crisis, warning of potential repercussions if actions did not change.

Netanyahu expressed bewilderment at what he perceives as their inability to grasp Hamas's intentions, stating, "When mass murderers thank you, you're on the wrong side of justice." This sentiment has been echoed by Israeli Minister Amichai Chikli, who claimed that Starmer and his counterparts are inadvertently fostering terrorism.

In parallel comments, UK Prime Minister expressed deep concern over Israel's military tactics and humanitarian response, labeling the situation in Gaza as "intolerable." Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert offered his condemnation of the current Israeli regime, calling them a "gang of thugs," and urging continued criticism of their policies in Gaza.

Since launching a military response to a devastating Hamas attack on October 7, which resulted in significant casualties on both sides, Israel has faced mounting scrutiny as civilian tolls in Gaza soar, reported by Hamas-controlled health authorities to exceed over 53,000 fatalities, including many children.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian crisis continues as everyday Gazans are left grappling with dire shortages of food, water, and shelter in their war-torn region.
