According to reports, music producer Abe Diaw accused Brown of striking him with a bottle and then continuing to assault him while he was on the ground. The situation escalated to the point where Diaw required crutches after being treated in the hospital. The Metropolitan Police were tipped off about Brown's presence in the UK and successfully took him into custody shortly after 2 AM, according to an official statement. Brown's representatives have yet to provide a comment regarding the incident.

The ongoing investigation into the assault is being managed by detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit. Brown, who has been touring and has several UK shows scheduled for June and July, remains in custody as the situation develops.
