The Trump Organization secures deals in the Gulf region as President Trump prepares for a state visit this May.
April 30, 2025, 11:34 a.m. ET — In a significant expansion of their international business interests, the Trump Organization has finalized a partnership with a government-owned firm in Qatar to develop a luxury golf course and residential project. This announcement comes just two weeks prior to President Trump’s scheduled visit to the Middle East, set for May 13.
Eric Trump, who leads the family business, is currently in Dubai attending a cryptocurrency conference while actively promoting new real estate initiatives, including a high-profile Trump-branded tower in the United Arab Emirates. “The golf course will be absolutely stunning, right by the ocean,” Eric Trump told reporters from The New York Times, expressing enthusiasm for the developments.
The collaborative project in Qatar is set to be executed in partnership with Qatari Diar, a prominent real estate entity funded by the country’s sovereign wealth fund and headed by a minister in the Qatari government. Furthermore, the initiative will involve Dar Global, the international subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Dar Al Arkan, which holds significant connections to the Saudi regime.
President Trump is expected to engage with leaders from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE during his trip, underscoring the lucrative opportunities these markets present for American firms.
