Diddy Allegedly Attacked Cassie Ventura with Hammer, Trial Reveals
Courtroom testimony unveils shocking behavior from Sean "Diddy" Combs following allegations of assault.
In a startling turn of events in Lower Manhattan, courtroom proceedings for Sean “Diddy” Combs have revealed shocking testimony regarding the rap mogul's alleged violent behavior, particularly towards his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. During the ongoing sex-trafficking trial, a former friend of Ventura, Kerry Morgan, recounted a terrifying episode in which Combs reportedly attempted to break into Ventura's apartment with a hammer following an assault at the Intercontinental Hotel in 2016.
The jury was shown security footage of the hotel incident multiple times, showcasing the severity of the situation. Morgan, who described herself as a witness, explained how she saw Combs banging on the door of Ventura's Los Angeles residence with a hammer. She expressed concern for Ventura’s safety, claiming the situation was so distressing that Ventura seemed indifferent to the potential danger posed by Combs.
Currently facing a range of serious charges including racketeering and sex trafficking, the 55-year-old Combs has pleaded not guilty, which could put him behind bars for life if convicted. Morgan detailed additional allegations of Combs’ violent tendencies, recalling an incident in Jamaica in which he forcibly dragged Ventura down a hallway by her hair.
Morgan also shared instances where she experienced violence from Combs herself, including a choking incident in 2018. Following their friendship ending after 17 years, Morgan testified that Ventura offered her $30,000 in exchange for signing a non-disclosure agreement, a proposal that has since left them estranged.
As the trial continues, former personal assistant David James has also been called to the stand, providing insights into the atmosphere within Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment empire. James detailed a conversation he overheard where Combs allegedly communicated control over Ventura, describing her as “mouldable.”
The trial is set to proceed, with anticipation regarding further revelations about these explosive allegations.
